With Evercold on the horizon, I've been meaning to paint a new portrait of my Au'ra boy Jin 😌✨️

Ahhh it's been a while! Many years ago I started a series of Au'ra horns. It began with baroque style, then onto glass, and so this time we have porcelain horns, mended by golden lacquer. ✨️

Jin is a soft boy and you'll often not see him without a smile. 😁 I think that the meaning behind kintsugi is simple and profound, not just because there is strength in not being afraid to showcase our imperfections, but also understanding everything and everyone has a story. It is beautiful when we allow ourselves to exist, yet even in failing, we continuously try; repairing and mending as we put ourselves back together to enhance what once was to become who one is. 😇 We are a never ending process that I believe in itself is an art form; symbolized perfectly by kintsugi ✨️
